Fashion is more than the clothes you wear or the way you accessorize. It is the way in which you manifest your personal statement without the use of your voice. It is a banner that announces your presence to an overly homogenized world. What better way to gain control over that statement, and thus identity, than with customized clothing.

Described as being on the forefront of modern apparel design, Jill Laxamana’s inspiration and her ability to bring to life your ideas puts you in a unique position to have your voice expressed in one of today’s most important mediums. Jill has been active in the fashion industry since 2002 as a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Design program at The Art Institute of Seattle, where her portfolio collection in that year’s graduate fashion show (Fashion Plates and Flying Saucers) won the Fashion Forward Award and was praised in the pages of Seattle Weekly for its fresh approach to classic apparel. She then worked for 5 years as the assistant designer at Atelier Endeavor, designing custom high-end fashion pieces for hundreds in the greater Vancouver, BC area.

Now with years of experience, creating everything from intelligent and evocative business attire to fabulously elegant wedding dresses, she has amassed an intimate knowledge and creative instinct, fine tuning her skills in pattern making, draping, hand work and beading . She is a not just a seamstress or an illustrator, she is a complete designer. Your wardrobe is part of your voice and Jill Laxamana can help it sing.

Hello let me start off by saying I love your work and think its tres fab.

I’m newly engaged and I was getting ideas for bridesmaids dresses so I googled aqua/ tiffany blue/ turquoise dresses and 95% of what I saw was outdated, cheesy eighties crap … No offense to the brides and bridal parties forced to choose those gowns..

WHen I was finally giving up hope I stumbled across your site and the saw the post for vianne’s girls (july 2010) and then jenn (october 2010). I was instantly smitten… The quality, the chicness, freshness and execution makes you drawn to the possibilities of your work.. Needless to say you have set the standards of sexy fresh, fancy uniqueness I am looking for my girls. I will keep your name high on my list as I begin this search…
